Thanks SP ...

You are the BEST.

Today is a dreary rainy day here in NJ...I was so tired but as soon as I got home and found my package I perked up!!! The onesie is great. It says it all "dreamer". We all have dreams that we hope to fulfill. Not only did my SP send the onesie for Addison(yes, we finally decided on a name) but I also received a gift. A Barnes & Noble gift card. Wahoo! I can get another book...I do love to read.

Thanks so much SP...you are great.

Ut oh...2 great minds that think alike....lucky me!!

Sherry: The name game is a tough one but I let DH have the final pick...Addison's middle name will be our family middle name, on my side ...it's Elizabeth.

Yes, the name game was tough for us too. Sonny's (nickname since birth) real name is Archie and he's the 4th. He got teased a lot for both names growing up. So let's just say he got way to touchy about the names.
;)

The names we picked are very simple non-teasing names - or so we think.
:)

I think Sonny ended up with the final pick too.

But, I think 'Addison Elizabeth' is truly a beautiful name.

I absolutely love the name Addison Elizabeth. That was one of the names I pushed for, but DH vetoed it. It's beautiful!

I'm so glad you liked the onesie. I couldn't resist it! And I know from being on all the Yahoo groups how much you like to read, but don't know what you already have.

Sherry: did you announce the names yet or are they still a "secret"? I haven't told my family yet tho just you pals here.

No - we are still keeping them a secret. The only one who keeps 'bugging' me is my 8 year old niece. She keeps picking out names she like and begging me to use that name. So now it's like a game. But, we still have our nicknames 'Autumn' and Sydney' - two of the vetoed names that we call them by. I've bought a few things with their real names on them and I have to hide them just so when people are over they don't see the names.

We just don't want everyone saying 'why did you pick THAT name'.

I need to talk to the hubby and see if I can 'announce' them here or not. :)

Are you going to tell your family or wait until you get your referral?

We havent announced for the same reason Hehe. I'm not sure when we will announce it but I am getting nagged so with "why cant you pick a name" or "whats so hard about it" etc. I think as a game I may send an email in 2007 saying the name is...and then put in the body the chinese name. That will get them...they will have to search to figure out what it is. Thats mean huh?

That's a great idea. Make them work for it!

We should think of some kind of treasure hunt thing to do. We could direct them to a site and give them clues to a specfic letter. We could do this monthly. But do it out of order and make them figure it out. We could post clues on our blogs. If we started in January it would take them 7 months in your case to figure it out. 5 months for one for me and 6 months for the other.

Can you tell I have way to much time on my hands.
:)

that actually sounds like fun...it's a great idea. I think they would never guess my way; just putting it out there. How many names are out there Haha!

I guess DH hasnt agreed to release the names to us yet ??? lol

Funny - I haven't 'asked' him yet. I told him about the conversion we had but didn't say 'do you mind if I tell all my blog friends their names'. Plus, he's had a really bad cold that he got in India and when he's sick he sometimes 'half' listens. Maybe this weekend I'll bring it up.
